SMALL ANIMAL INTERNIST -- Sept 2007

Mid-Atlantic Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is actively seeking a full-time board-certified (or residency-trained) small animal internist. This is a full-time position in a rapidly growing, progressive referral hospital with the support of two full-time surgeons and two full-time surgeons.

Ultrasonography, flexible endoscopy complement the hospital’s current diagnostic capabilities including Heska CBC-Diff, VetTest8008, I-Stat, blood pressure, defibrillator, ECG, pulse oximetry and other standard monitoring equipment. Additionally, we utilize Antech diagnostic services, among others and the Iams Pet Imaging Center is in close proximity to our hospital making MRI scanning readily available and practical.

MASH is located in Huntingtown, MD, a rapidly expanding DC Metro bedroom community in the Tri-county region of beautiful suburban southern Maryland, minutes from the Chesapeake Bay, Annapolis and Washington, DC. Our current referral base includes veterinarians from hospitals covering a wide region that extends from southern Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, St. Mary’s, Charles and Calvert Counties in Maryland, and the eastern end of northern Virginia. We are offering a competitive compensation package with a guaranteed salary base and quarterly bonuses possible based on percentage of productivity. This is a full-time position in a rapidly growing, progressive referral hospital with the support of two full-time surgeons and two full-time surgeons.
